Ceramic teapot by Marie-Christine Treinen - Vallauris - Ref 1396

Sublime chocolate pot or jug with a handle, made of ceramic, signed by Marie-Christine Treinen, Vallauris. The enamelled patterns are stunning, applied using a cloisonné technique, outlined by engraved lines and reserved on a light blue background. Multicoloured enamels are then applied in the spaces, giving the decoration a graphic aspect, typical of the 60s-70s, absolutely superb! The handle is very practical and makes handling easy. The ends show some wear, including the lid handle, spout, and handle, but the rest of the object, especially the decorations, are in perfect condition. See photos.
