Fish mouth vase Undine - Conradt Brothers

Mid-century ceramic art vase model Undine 98/3. This piece was made in West Germany by Gebrüder Conradt in the 1960s. It is a handmade vase with typical atomic age colours and geometric shapes. This fish-mouth model is in very good original condition and retains its authentic label. Signed underneath 98/3 Undine. The name Undine refers to a water nymph or water spirit in mythology, a name that highlights the fluid elegance of this piece. Gebrüder Conradt was a renowned art pottery workshop, although smaller than some of its contemporaries, famous for its artistic glazes and modern designs created under the direction of Walter Conradt. In good condition; there is a light mark on the upper edge, which is not damage or a chip, but a light shade that is glazed like the rest of the vase.
