Set of 4 Locus Solus chairs in lacquered metal by Gae Aulenti for Poltronova, 1964. The round seat is made of perforated sheet metal. The structure, which forms the backrest, armrests, and legs, is made of tubular steel. The design was originally intended for outdoor use. The paint has aged beautifully due to outdoor use over the years. The cushions are in their original plastic covering. Very decorative chairs for both indoor and outdoor use. The frames show significant signs of wear.
