Tuna Chair Omega No.20 at the end of the 19th century

Thonet chair no.20 stamped at the end of the 19th century. It was shortened by a few centimetres during the course of life from 47 cm to 42 cm, certainly to serve as a heater or nanny chair (whose standard height was about 39/40 cm). It retains all its functional and decorative appearance, with this superb "omega" from the back to the perfect line. The seat was even re-decorated by the previous owner. Robust structure. Perfect as an extra chair near a living room table (better than a pouf!), a heater by a stove, a fireplace, a bedroom, a corner room, a bathroom (ideal height), or on board a small sign. --- height 86 cm, seat width 42 cm, seating height 42 cm.
