3 Gastone Rinaldi 'Sabrina' Chairs for Rima – Italy, 1970s

Iconic set of three Gastone Rinaldi 'Sabrina' chairs, designed for the Italian manufacturer Rima in the 1970s. The exceptional construction of chromed tubular steel and delicate metal rods gives the chairs their characteristic sculptural appearance. The curved seat shell simultaneously ensures a comfortable sitting experience. The combination of the shiny chrome frame and the dark brown upholstery is particularly beautiful. A characteristic example of Italian Space-Age and Mid-Century design. Condition: good authentic vintage condition with age-related signs of wear. The chromed frame shows slight traces of surface rust, especially in the leg area. One of the seat cushions has a tear on the seat surface (see photos). The upholstery generally shows age-appropriate signs of wear.
