Vintage Postmodern Modernism Design "SANDOWS" Cord Chairs by René Herbst for Ecart International. Made in France during the 1980s. These chairs represent the classic modernist 1930s German Bauhaus design with black metal frames and spring cords. The set includes six chairs in good original condition, showing signs of use and age. Some chairs exhibit slight corrosion, paint chips, and other signs of wear on the metal frames and chrome sections of the spring cords. Each chair measures 81.5 cm high, 42 cm wide, and 46 cm deep, with a seat height of 46 cm. One chair is missing two cords, which can be replaced.
