Tubular floor lamp in blue-grey metal and brass, pink lampshade – circa 1930. This rare floor lamp from the 1930s seduces with the subtle elegance of its modernist design. Its tubular silhouette in matte blue-grey metal gives it a sober and graphic look, softened by delicate patinated brass details, discreetly worked. The whole rests on a stable circular base, in a beautiful balance of lines. The powder pink fabric lampshade – most likely later but harmoniously matched – brings a soft and contemporary touch to the whole, creating a refined contrast with the industrial tones of the base. It diffuses a warm light, ideal for creating a cozy atmosphere in a living room or reading corner. A beautiful example of late Art Deco lighting, between rigorous materials and attention to detail, perfect for punctuating an interior with character. Electricity ok, works with a switch at the socket. Bayonet bulb. Good condition, a small stain on the lampshade.
