Large ornamental punch bowl/Art Deco pot Amethyst August Walther

Spectacular large crystal vase with a lid, originally serving as a punch bowl, from German glassware created by August Walther in 1888 in Ottendorf, Germany (producing a wide range of tableware and ornamental glass). Beautiful amethyst colour. The rim is formed by a golden metal ribbon featuring raised dancing figures. Art Deco period. Some tiny signs of use. In superb condition. Total height 27 cm. Diameter at the top 24 cm and diameter at the bottom 14 cm. Weight 3419 g.
