Elegant and refined, this flat desk is made of solid mahogany in the Directoire style. 19th century period. It is topped with a solid mahogany surface, covered with dark green morocco leather with golden borders (intact). Thus offering a comfortable and elegant work surface. It opens with two beautifully sized drawers, providing ample storage space. The key is present and works for both drawers. It rests on straight, tapered legs ending in small gilded bronze feet. Perfect stability. Height under the belt: 61 cm. Decoration reduced to the essentials (lock and feet), in accordance with the spirit of the Directoire style: sober and chic.
