Antique Directoire style desk

Directoire style flat desk (Louis XVI) in solid wood, elegant and very functional. The main top is covered in green English leather adorned with golden "small iron" patterns. It has the unique feature of having two side extensions also covered in leather, allowing for a significant increase in the work surface according to your needs. Features: • Storage: 2 front drawers with escutcheon lock entries (antique style). I have the keys. • Design: Tapered and fluted legs, typical of the Directoire style. • Dimensions: Length: 100 cm. 155 cm with the extensions out. • Width: 54 cm. • Height: 78 cm. • Condition: Good overall condition. Some signs of use on the wood that give it a beautiful authentic patina. The leather is well preserved. The button is missing on the right extension (see photo). Ideal for a classic interior, a liberal office, or to add a touch of character to a contemporary room.
