Oak veneer desk 1950

An old small desk with a solid oak base and friezes, and a top made of oak veneer. We love its compact size and its simple, timeless look. Tapered legs, with two drawers topped with metal handles. The oak (veneer) top is very elegantly gilded. Restored, treated, sanded, lightly tinted, and varnished. This desk has some signs of restoration and wear in places, inherent to its age... Patina...
