This decor is part of the great earthenware tradition of the Gien factory, founded in 1821. Inspired by the famous 18th-century Rouen decors, the Rouen Sainfoin model revisits classic floral and scroll motifs in a rich and refined interpretation. Published in a limited series, this service showcases the historical know-how of Gien, recognised for the quality of its glazes and the finesse of its decorations. A distinctive tableware, both heritage and decorative, ideal for an elegant table or to complete a collection. Dimensions: 39 X 29 cm. Height: 3 cm. Very good overall condition, vintage item, retains traces of time and manufacturing (Presence of slight crazing of the glaze, common on old pieces, without affecting the solidity + 1 micro chip underneath, not visible.) This model is no longer manufactured by Gien.
