Six English porcelain dessert plates WOOD & SONS Dorset service

The six plates are in perfect condition, no accidents, no cracks or chips. They have been used a little, and three of them have tiny scratches on the bottom, almost imperceptible. The patterns do not all have the same intensity, from one plate to another, and it should be noted that three are paler. This is quite common for this type of decoration which was applied in a very artisanal manner, which explains these nuances. Very rich decorations which occupy the space well and are very present, almost monochrome on a white background, and embellished with light spontaneous touches of fresh colors. The pieces are all marked on the reverse with the ink of the wood & sons burslem factory stamp. These are parts of the "dorset" service. The edge of the marli is very slightly scalloped, in slight relief. Beautifully crafted english production from the first half of the 20th century.
