A rare Scandinavian piece from the late 1950s / early 1960s — a modernist desk-sideboard designed to be placed against the wall. With its asymmetrical layout and clean, minimalist form, it blends the functions of a writing desk and a compact storage unit. The left side features a sliding-door cabinet with a shelf (84 cm wide), while the right side includes three drawers (39 cm wide). A key feature: the top is detachable, allowing you to swap the sides — drawers can be positioned on the left or right depending on your space. Smart and adaptable. Crafted from a combination of solid oak (legs and structural elements) and natural teak veneer on top, fronts and sides — a typical construction technique in Scandinavian mid-century cabinetry. The surface has been fully restored and finished with hardwax oil, providing a silky, durable finish that enhances the natural grain of the wood. Dimensions: Width: 200 cm. Depth: 53 cm. Height: 72 cm. Condition: Fully restored in our workshop — structure cleaned, surface refinished, all moving parts functional. This piece is ready to use and built to last. A beautiful example of Scandinavian modernism — understated, functional, and refined.
