Swedish double-sided desk in teak, late 1950s/early 1960s, SMB Bodafors

Elegant double-sided Scandinavian desk, made in Sweden in the late 1950s and 1960s by SMB Bodafors, one of the country's most renowned furniture manufacturers. The original manufacturer's mark has been preserved on the underside, confirming its provenance. Crafted from teak with beautiful natural grain, this desk features a sleek and minimalist silhouette, with tapered rectangular legs. It has a central drawer and two large compartments at the front, while the back is fully veneered, allowing it to be freely arranged in the room – a rare and sought-after double-sided construction. Restored in our workshop, this desk has been carefully refurbished and protected with hard oil-wax, ensuring elegance and durability. Dimensions: 130 × 65 × 77 cm. A modern mid-century piece, refined and functional, ideal for interiors with Scandinavian or modern vintage styles.
