Large Mid-Century Scandinavian Striped Glass Vase by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta, Sweden, 1950s

Beautiful large mid-century modern glass vase designed by one of the pioneers of swedish glass vicke lindstrand for kosta (sweden, 1950s). The vase features a black & purple linear design encased in thick transparent glass. Quite heavy (1.5 kg). A beautiful example of scandinavian minimalist design. The vase is extremely decorative. Signed at bottom "kosta lh 1388". Height: 28 cm; width (widest point): 7 cm; depth (widest point): 5 cm. Very good vintage condition.
