This piece is an authentic testament to the regional craftsmanship of the mid-20th century, often associated with the famous Union factory. 🎨 Preserved artisanal know-how: "Grand Feu" technique: This plate has been hand-decorated on raw glaze before a unique firing at nearly 1000°C, ensuring vibrant and timeless colours. "Pinched" and "sponge" decoration: The central pink/red bouquet is painted using the "pinched" technique, while the blue border is created with a sponge, offering a rustic and authentic charm typical of the 1940s-1960s. 📏 Technical details: Generous diameter: 26.5 cm, ideal for wall display or as a centrepiece. Authentic marking: Hand-signed on the back "Saint-Martory" with the workshop/painter number "78". ✨ Condition: This plate retains all its splendour despite the years. Please note a slight loss of glaze at the back attachments, completely invisible when the piece is hung or placed. This reflects its history and does not detract from its charm.
