Cees Braakman Pastoe Oak series plywood coffee table

Unusual and rare Cees Braakman Pastoe Oak series coffee table with a lower section for magazines. It has the Pastoe stamp on the underside. There are slight signs of use and a small dark spot on the top, which is not really worrisome. A beautiful piece! A team from Pastoe, including Cees Braakman, visited the Herman Miller plant in Michigan in the fifties to learn about their production systems and saw how they made plywood for the Eames products.
