A handcrafted stoneware bowl signed by the Poterie de la Colombe, a workshop founded in 1960 in Orriule by Marcel and Madeleine Brault. This piece stands out for its free and spontaneous decoration, typical of Madeleine Brault's work, where the gesture takes precedence: a tachist decor for an organic composition in shades of brown and olive, evoking a vegetal or abstract form, achieved through the projection and diffusion of the glaze. Each piece is thus unique, marked by the moment and movement. The interior features a soft, slightly satin glaze, contrasting with a warm edge in terracotta tones, characteristic of the workshop's controlled firings. Stamped: an embossed signature with a stylised dove, a guarantee of authenticity. In excellent vintage condition. Diameter 18 cm, height 4 cm. An expressive and singular piece, perfect for enriching a table or interior in the spirit of curated home and textured minimalism.
