Square enamelled stoneware dish with a free and poetic pictorial decoration. The surface features a deep turquoise background with aquatic shades, punctuated by white projections and graphic lines, on which large stylised flowers stand out, treated in ivory reserves with subtle shadows. The decoration, very gestural, evokes spontaneous painting, almost calligraphic, where each mark seems intentional. The small raised green dots and black drips add rhythm and depth, while the slightly raised edges elegantly highlight the square shape. The underside reveals the raw clay, carefully turned, and bears an incised signature “ES”, suggesting a workshop or independent ceramicist's work. In excellent vintage condition, with fine cracks and visible firing nuances, inherent to the glazing technique and fully contributing to the charm of the piece.
