These two wall sconces from Raak Amsterdam are a beautiful example of lighting design from the early 1960s. Known for their elegant simplicity and refined materials, these fixtures reflect the timeless aesthetic for which Raak was celebrated. The round metal wall mounts support opaline glass shades, which delicately rest within two fine circular brass rings. The visual effect is striking: the glass shades appear to float, giving the lamps a subtle, almost weightless quality. This refined construction and soft glow make them ideal for creating warm, atmospheric light, whether in a hallway, living space, or bedroom. The lamps have been fully re-electrified and fitted with switches for added convenience, although they can also be hardwired directly into the wall if desired. Both lamps are in excellent condition, with no damage to the glass or metal components. Price for both lamps.
