Exceptional and large wall lamp by Gofredo Reggiani.

Iconic and sought-after piece of Italian lighting design from the 1970s. Designed by the master Goffredo Reggiani (founder of the prestigious Reggiani Illuminazione in 1957), this large wall sconce embodies the very essence of Space Age and Mid-Century Modern design. Reggiani made his mark in design history with his absolute technical demands, combining heavy chrome steel structures with pure organic forms. This monumental piece consists of an elegant U-shaped curved chrome steel tube and a large blown white opaline glass globe. It diffuses a soft, enveloping, and extremely warm light while asserting a unique sculptural presence on a wall. Specifications: Designer / Publisher: Goffredo Reggiani (Italy, c. 1970) Materials: Bright chrome steel, white opaline glass. Electricity & Authenticity: 100% original system (period Bakelite socket and push-button switch on wall plate). Condition: Generally in beautiful condition. The opaline globe is impeccable (without cracks, with two micro bubbles from the artisanal work of the globe). The chrome retains a lovely shine with some marks and a very slight natural patina from use over time (visible in detailed photos), a testament to its period authenticity. Very fast shipping and assured protection... If you are on Selency, it means you want a different, authentic, and unique interior ❤️.
