Spazio series typewriter desk by Studio BBPR for Olivetti, circa 1960

Studio BBPR consisted of four leading names in architecture, urban planning, and design: Gian Luigi Banfi (Milan, 1910 – Gusen 1945), Lodovico Barbiano di Belgiojoso (Milan 1909 – 2004), Enrico Peressutti (Pinzano al Tagliamento, Udine, 1908 – Milan 1976), and Ernesto Nathan Rogers (Trieste 1909 – Gardone, Brescia, 1969). Founded in Milan in 1932, this Spazio series typewriter desk was a product of their work in the 1960s. The desk is in good condition with signs of use and patina consistent with age. The tabletop is upholstered with a dark burgundy faux leather. Please check the photographs for scale pictures with model and Giroflex Office Chair.
