Freestanding Teak Desk, Denmark 1960s/1970s, Vintage, Mid-C Modern

Freestanding teak desk, manufactured in Denmark in the 1960s/1970s. Finished in teak veneer and set on solid teak legs. The desk has a beautiful shape and a visually lightweight structure thanks to the recess above the drawer units, which creates the effect of a floating tabletop. The piece is well-made. The front of the desk features two modules with three drawers each, and the back features a shelf running the length of the desk. Additional shelves are available thanks to the space between the drawer units and the tabletop. The entire unit has been carefully cleaned of old coatings, and as a final step, we sealed the desk with a water- and stain-resistant hard oil-wax. The desk will easily fit into any apartment, studio, or workshop.
