Chalk and pastel on paper. Signed at the bottom right. Giuseppe Siccardi established himself as a sculptor, but he also created several graphic works, mainly on paper, using red chalk or in black and white. The recurring themes of these drawings are family life and scenes of tender intimacy, as seen in this drawing depicting a maternity full of tenderness. The drawing is presented in a frame from the late 19th century (slight damage to the gilding).
