Superb pair of small antique vases in white opaline, made by the Schmid Glassworks of Vannes-le-Châtel, around 1900. These two pieces feature a very beautiful relief moulded decoration, particularly intricate, with ornamental motifs, foliage, and decorative swallow figures. The flared neck ends with an elegant scalloped edge that adds a lot of presence to the whole. The two vases bear the mark "SV" under their base, corresponding to the Schmid Glassworks of Vannes-le-Châtel, a French manufacturer known for its production of opaline and moulded glass at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. A rare and decorative pair, interesting for a collector of antique opalines or for a refined Art Nouveau style decoration. Height: approximately 13 cm. Condition: good overall condition considering the age. Some small signs of use and irregularities related to the old manufacturing may be present. Please carefully examine the photographs. Sold as a pair.
