Iconic vintage ‘CAB 414’ sofa designed by Mario Bellini for Cassina during the 1980s. One of the most recognisable Italian postmodern seating designs, featuring Bellini’s signature saddle leather construction with a bold architectural silhouette and beautifully aged black leather. The exposed stitched leather cover stretched over the steel structure creates a sculptural appearance while developing a rich and authentic patina over time, characteristic of the CAB series. The sofa is in good vintage condition with visible age-related signs of use and a beautiful overall patina. There is a small worn area with the beginning of a crack to the upper middle section, however this does not significantly affect the overall appearance or structural integrity of the piece.
