Matador 2 seater sofa by Aage Christiansen for Erhardsen & Andersen, 1960s

Sturdy and very comfortable brown leather designer sofa by Aage Christiansen for Erhardsen & Andersen from the 1960s. The Matador sofa is 150 cm wide and is very decorative with visible stitching seams, organically shaped armrests and loose seat and back cushions. Underneath the bench are tapered legs made of stained beech wood. The leather is in beautiful used condition. The lounge sofa has a light patina, which contributes to the authentic character of the sofa. The undercloth is not visibly damaged (see photo). A great example of Danish Midcentury design!
