Harmony cabinet by Arnold Merckx for Pastoe, postmodern design, 1980s

Pastoe Harmony cabinet by Arnold Merckx in its original aubergine and pink-purple lacquer, with a distinctive 1980s postmodern appearance. The Harmony series was designed by Arnold Merckx for Pastoe. This cabinet consists of two modules, a central drawer unit and a wide overhanging top. The geometric composition and combination of aubergine, pink-purple and black give the cabinet its distinctive postmodern character. It is made of wood, lacquered board and metal, with the original finish and color scheme. Dimensions: 160 × 48 × 104 cm (W×D×H). Marked with the original Pastoe label. The condition of the cabinet is very good, with light signs of use consistent with age. The cabinet is clean, sturdy and fully functional. The original lacquer is preserved and has not been overpainted or altered.
