Convertible armchair with brocade fabric and floral patterns.

Louis XV style cabriolet armchair, wooden structure, solid beech stained oak. Upholstery fabric with pronounced relief patterns of colourful leaves and flowers in red, pink, blue, or yellow on an ecru background. Upholstered fabric with studs on the backrest and around the seat edges. High and slender legs, slightly curved. Dense seat, foam on taut straps and springs. Lightweight, compact armchair that is very comfortable in lovely contemporary colours, in excellent condition. Handcrafted by a local cabinetmaker in the 1950s, in a small town in the south of France. Seat height 46 cm.
