Stunning hand-painted wedding/bridal chest. In the name of morvat roza, in 1891. An exceptional piece of nineteenth-century folk art. Probably alsatian (prussian/german since the time). We love: The patinated tray marked by time through its erased paint and impressive marks in the wood. Details inside: pencil inscription and engraving of the portrait of friedrich / frederick III.
