Green Vicke Lindstrand Ceramic Vase "638" Upsala Ekeby, 1950's

This is a rare green ceramic vase, model number 638, designed by Vicke Lindstrand and produced by Upsala Ekeby in Sweden during 1951-1952. The vase is inscribed "EKEBY 638" and "VL" on the bottom. Vicke Lindstrand (1904-1983) was a renowned Swedish ceramic artist and designer, known for his contributions to mid-20th-century Scandinavian design. The vase is crafted from earthenware with a glazed finish and features a mid-century modern aesthetic. Dimensions: Height 25 cm (9.85 in), Diameter 16 cm (6.3 in).
