Large antique iridescent multilayer glass vase – attributed to Clichy or Pantin.

Very beautiful antique vase made of multi-layer blown glass, featuring a spectacular speckled polychrome decoration in shades of red-orange, yellow, aubergine, and black. The decoration was incorporated hot into the material, then covered with a layer of transparent glass, creating remarkable depth and stunning transparency effects when placed in front of light. The glass also displays beautiful iridescent reflections in purple, blue, and gold hues, particularly visible under the base and depending on the lighting. With its bulging shape, short widely flared neck, polished circular base, and the speckling technique used, this vase can be compared to the French productions from the glassworks of Clichy or Pantin, around the first third of the 20th century. Unsigned piece: attribution proposed cautiously considering its technical and stylistic characteristics. A very beautiful piece of antique glassware, luminous and particularly decorative, ideal for Art Deco, vintage decor, or to complement a collection of French glassware. Very good overall condition: no chips or cracks. A small sign of use is to be noted, as well as fine marks under the base, consistent with its age. Height: 24 cm. Neck diameter: 9 cm.
