Lampshade for Scandinavian pendant light, Hans-Agne Jakobsson

Lampshade for Scandinavian pendant light from the 1960s-1970s by Swedish designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson. It is entirely made of pine wood (thin slats) giving a warm light by semi-transparency. In very good condition, it still has a small piece of pine missing on the upper part of the lampshade. Hans-agne Jakobsson, not liking dazzling lights, decided to found his own company in 1951 in order to design lights that were both beautiful and soft light. He also designed lamps for his other company AB Ellysett in Markaryd. His pine wood lamps are his greatest success
