Louis XIII Revival wardrobe in walnut and marble

We are delighted to offer for sale this beautifully carved French Louis XIII Revival cabinet with inset marble panels. Dating approximately from 1860, this piece is an important decorative art item, richly carved with Renaissance motifs such as young women, eagles, swans, and neoclassical nymphs. The cabinet features two doors, one with a full-length lock and original key, opening to ample storage space. The piece has been carefully cleaned, waxed, and hand-polished, showing a patina related to age and use, but is in very good overall condition. Dimensions: Height 180 cm, Width 154 cm, Depth 54 cm.
