Born in a rural carpentry workshop at the turn of the 1960s-1970s, this side table seems to have sprung straight from the forest. Its hand-carved base mimics a gnarled trunk that divides into three "roots, " forming a naturally stable footing. The addition of an extra branch further enhances the overall stability, while the seat, cut from a thick slice of wood, retains an irregular edge full of character.
