Antique black patinated wooden chair, African fabric and ram's heads.

There are chairs that we choose to sit on. And then there are those we choose because they immediately change the look of a room. This one clearly belongs to the second category. Its deeply patinated black wood structure reveals the marks of time and gives it that presence we love so much in antique furniture. The slightly enveloping backrest is finished on each side with two ram's heads in repoussé metal, finely crafted, almost like jewels placed on the wood. The seat is upholstered in an African fabric with geometric patterns in black, ochre, and ecru. A very graphic contrast that works particularly well with the depth of the black wood and the reflections of the metal. A strong decorative piece, somewhere between furniture, craftsmanship, and a curiosity object. Antique chair in patinated black wood. Enveloping backrest finished with two ram's heads in repoussé metal. Padded seat covered with African fabric featuring geometric patterns in black, ochre, and ecru. Unique antique piece showing traces and irregularities related to its history and use.
