Vintage Italian Space Age Floor Lamp in Chromed Metal with "Flying Saucer" Shade

This vintage Italian floor lamp is a quintessential example of Space Age design from the 1970s. Constructed from chromed metal, stainless steel, and painted metal, it features a distinctive 'flying saucer' shade in cream white. A smaller chromed metal disc positioned underneath the shade helps to diffuse the light effectively. While unsigned, the design is reminiscent of works by Goffredo Reggiani. The lamp is extremely well-preserved and has been lightly polished to restore its original shine. It is in perfect working condition with its original wire, plug, and switch (European standard 220-240V).
