Antique dressing table

Charming 19th century Empire Biedermeier chest of drawers in varnished mahogany. Small but very functional with its 2 deep drawers - perfect for storing towels. The first drawer is particularly refined with its small storage and compartments in different types of wood and small marquetry and its retractable mirror surrounded by 2 secret compartments. Pretty worked gilded handles and functional locks (the key is not original) The whole is clean and in good condition, with old restorations. There are some veneer chips, scratches and traces of use. The varnish is a little tarnished in places. To be renovated or to leave as is with its stigmata of time!.
