Handcrafted ceramic vase in a spherical "ball" shape, featuring an elegant flared neck. Inspired by the work of Lucie Rie (1902–1995), typical of modernist or Art Deco ceramics from the 1940s/1950s. Beautiful ringed glaze on the upper part, in earthy beige/brown/cream colours. Its simplicity and cylindrical shape may also evoke the ceramics of Francis Jourdain. Dimensions: H 16.5cm X dia 13cm.
