The vase by Jacques Pouchain, from the Dieulefit workshop, represents an emblematic piece of French ceramics from the 1960s. Made of glazed beige stoneware, this object showcases Pouchain's unique talent, which successfully combines poetry and design. Having turned away from traditional studies to dedicate himself to ceramics, he experimented with glazes, notably by combining a white glaze with manganese oxide, thus creating pieces of great originality.
