Large vintage vase made of hand-turned ceramic with an elegant off-white semi-transparent glaze. Very beautiful shape inspired by traditional Asian jars, reinterpreted in a minimalist and wabi-sabi spirit. The subtle turning lines and fine firing imperfections give it a lot of character and a very calming presence. Craftsmanship likely of European origin, influenced by Japanese ceramics and studio pottery from the 1970s to 1990s. Stunning decorative object on its own or with a few sculptural branches.
