Important Estate Bench with Floral Fabric, Louis XIV Period – Early 18th Century

Wingback bench with a base made up of eight identical turned and beveled legs. These are joined by spacers at the bottom, cut and molded on the edges. The legs are ball-shaped at the bottom. The seat, redone with straps and springs (for more comfort), is covered with a floral fabric that wraps around the entire bench. On the top, we find large old gold nails attached and which are more spaced out on the front.
