Large coat rack from the early century in walnut, in generally good condition. 10 hooks, umbrella stand. (the old zinc container and the bar to hold the umbrellas are missing) Beautiful sculptural work, pediment with a griffin crest, fleur-de-lis, sticks, and crown. Traces of gilding on the crest. It was originally in the entrance hall of a hotel in Contrexéville (FRANCE).
