Kai Kristiansen Scandinavian shelving system, Denmark 1960s

Scandinavian midcentury modern design rosewood shelving system designed by Kai Kristiansen and manufactured by FM Møbler; it comprises eight shelves of varying depths and five storage units—including a cabinet with glass doors, a unit with black-painted sliding glass doors, and three wooden cabinets. The cabinets and shelves can be arranged as desired. Features the manufacturer’s label. Production Denmark, 1960s. The five original uprights are wood-clad, as shown in the detailed photo. Please note that the system is original of the period and this shows normal signs of age and use.
