COD 11343. Great 18th-century architectural capriccio with figures. Painting oil on canvas painting depicts an evocative architectural capriccio with ruins, enlivened by elegant figures in oriental costume that accentuate the exoticism of the scene. The main structures evoke ancient classical buildings, arches and niches with statues, domes, and temples of Roman and medieval origin.
