Grid frame cocoon suspension, Germany, 1960s, modernist design

This unusual cocoon suspension light emits a warm champagne-coloured glow, perfect for creating an intimate and refined atmosphere. The grid frame around the central cylinder makes this cocoon rare - we found nothing similar during our research. Well-proportioned and in very good condition, we believe it was made in the 1960s by the famous German manufacturer Goldkant, the original creators of synthetic resin cocoon lights. With its texture and shape, it fits perfectly into a modernist interior or a more eclectic environment. Note: no snags or holes, no rust on the frame. The lighting has been recently rewired for European voltage but can be easily adapted to American standards.
