Set of 6 Mid-Century Modern dining chairs, of Scandinavian origin (Denmark) from the 1960s-1970s. This is a variant of the famous Safari chair, inspired by British officer models. This specific model is often attributed to designers or manufacturers such as Hyllinge Møbler (Denmark) or in the style of Kaare Klint or Elias Svedberg. The very sturdy frame is made of dark-stained solid beech wood, while the seats/backrests are made of thick beige linen canvas. A system of leather straps with metal buckles under the seat allows for adjusting the tension of the canvas. The set is in good condition. The fabric is removable and washable. Width 47, depth 50, height 80/45.
