Unique set of 6 vintage dining chairs by Asko, Finland, 1970s. Designer: Ilse Töyrylä. Model: Odessa. A rare mid-century modern set from the renowned Finnish manufacturer Asko. The chair frames are likely made of coloured birchwood and the seating comfort is high. The seats and backrests are upholstered in the original Danish cord weaving, which shows light signs of use consistent with age but remains in very good condition across all six chairs. They represent the timeless beauty of Scandinavian design from the 1960s. Crafted in Finland, each chair features a sturdy oak frame with rounded details and a woven sisal seat, known for its durability and rustic charm.
