A charming little repoussé copper jewelry box dating from the Napoleon III period (circa 1860-1880). Its relief decoration depicts a scene teeming with cherubs and angels in a neo-Baroque style, highly representative of the decorative taste of the Second Empire. The lid, also richly crafted, features an elegant female figure and her dog resting after a hunt, lending the whole a romantic and precious air. Resting on four small ball feet, the box reveals its original interior, ideal for storing rings, pendants, brooches, or small treasures. This antique piece combines charm, delicate ornamentation, and quality craftsmanship. Good overall condition with a beautiful, warm patina. A lovely decorative object for collectors, or to enhance a dressing table, display case, or Belle Époque interior.
